That’s the thought that sparked the beginning of Sparesbox.
With 50 years combined experience in auto, we were frustrated that the industry was lagging behind and customers (including us) were paying the price when we knew that that with some innovation this could change.
Instead of waiting for someone else to make this change, we embraced the challenge and created Sparesbox, and we’re glad we did –
Since 2014, Sparesbox has grown to become the largest online auto parts store in Australia with 60,000+ (and counting!) loyal customers.
Sparesbox is a tech-led company, bringing premium parts direct from the manufacturers, saving customers money.
Our philosophy is to be transparent with customers – fair costs, quality service and letting customers know what they’re paying for: it’s pretty simple but giving customers visibility isn’t common in auto.
We want to create value for customers and to listen to them so we can adapt as we evolve, we do this by pairing auto expertise with innovation and technology.
Many of our parts-purchase customers are hands on car enthusiasts and DIY’ers.
Many more auto customers require assistance with vehicle maintenance and servicing.
So in August 2016, we expanded to offering mobile mechanics with “Sparesbox Service”, starting in Sydney and set to go nationwide.
Applying our founding philosophy to vehicle servicing, we are using tech innovation to save customers money (on average 30%) and providing a premium and convenient service by simply doing things smarter, and better.
