The answer is a definitive “maybe” on this one. Due to the unpredictability of driving in general, along with the huge variations in driving styles of different people and cars, every set of tyres on the road will have a different usable life. If you’re getting your wheels checked by a trusted technician at least once a year, then they’ll be okay for as long as they say so. As a general rule though, if your tyres are between 4-5 years old, it’s best to replace them, regardless of how much they’ve been used. Keeping your tyres at the correct operating pressure as stated by your manufacturer is the best way of extending their life.
