Camber is essentially the way the wheels are angled towards or away from the chassis of the car. In a negatively cambered car, the tops of the wheels will point in towards the car, and with positive camber they point away. Negative camber improves cornering grip with increased wear on tires, while positive camber is the opposite. Running too much negative camber can adversely affect braking performance.
