About Car Polish
An absolute essential in the toolkit of any car care enthusiast, nothing restores the shine and lustre of a car's paint quite like a really good bottle of car polish. Here you'll find the absolute finest polishes available, formulated to be the best from the world leaders in car care.
How Car Polish Works
Designed to be the next step of any real car detail after a wash, car polish is effectively a compound that comes in either liquid or paste form, and has micro-abrasive properties. While not as harsh as a cutting compound, car polish still works to remove a very fine layer from the top coat of your paint, and with it any light scratches, swirls or marks that it may have picked up over time. This leaves a fresh, clean finish that can then be built upon with a protective layer of wax or top coat.
Car polish comes in a number of different forms, from simple every day polishes to scratch removers and swirl removers, oxidation removers and plastic polishes that are individually formulated with different compounds to suit different paint types, finishes, colours and levels of damage.
Our Range of Car Polish
Sparesbox range of Car Polish is divided up into 3 main branches. The first is for every day polishes like Meguiars Ultimate Polish and Autoglym Super Resin Polish, which are perfect for maintaining and restoring paintwork that's been subjected to every day wear and tear. For more damaged, scratched and swirled paintwork, Spares Box carries a range of intensive scratch and and swirl removers like Meguiars Scratch X 2.0 and Mothers California Gold Scratch Remover, which cut a little deeper without being as abrasive as a full cutting compound.
We also carry a fantastic range of plastic polishes, which are great for restoring and deoxidising clear plastic such as that found on your vehicle's headlights and mirrors.
