According to 303 themselves, the process for using this product goes as follows:
1) Spray directly on the spot until wet
2) Agitate with a soft brush or wet cloth
3) Wipe up stain & excess cleaner with damp cloth, rinsing out in clean water as necessary. For heavier soils, increase agitation & soak rime
4) Let surface dry
5) Repeat if necessary
