    About Performance Exhausts

Performance exhausts are all about streamlining the flow of gases and fumes produced by your engine out of your car's internals. By getting your engine's exhaust flow as efficient as possible, you're paving the way for more responsive performance and a higher capacity for your engine to bring in fresh air, significantly boosting its power.

Finding the right performance exhaust components for your vehicle can be difficult, the options are extensive and the differences may seem negligible on the surface, however, unlike inferior exhaust products, Sparesbox range of high quality exhaust components will not only improve the performance and sound of your vehicle, they will also stand the test of time. Sparesbox stocks a range Catalytic Converters, Exhaust Mounts, Exhaust Systems, Headers & Extractors, Universal Mufflers and Varex Mufflers from one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of performance exhausts & accessories, including X-Force, Mackay & SuperPro.

    How Performance Exhausts Work

Stock exhaust systems are designed to restrict the flow of exhaust gases from your engine, in order to provide a quieter drive, less pollutions and a more refined driving experience. Unfortunately, restricting this air flow also restricts your engine's capacity to generate the most power possible, as it can't take in fresh air until its exhaust gases have evacuated first. This is where performance exhaust systems come in to play, replacing the pipes, mufflers and components of your exhaust system with lighter, less restrictive alternatives to enhance air flow.

Exhaust systems can either be bolted onto your stock catalytic converter in a cat back exhaust system, while header back and turbo back systems replace your entire exhaust for the maximum boost. All of these exhaust systems come as fully built, pre-packaged systems, meaning all you have to do is bolt it in and away you go.

How a Performance Exhaust Can Benefit the Australian Driver

As they can largely be bolted in (although custom made exhaust systems are available), performance exhaust systems are becoming increasingly popular as entry level modifications for a huge range of vehicles that you find in Australia. All of our performance exhaust systems and parts are manufactured by Sydney's own XFORCE. Designed, engineered and dyno tested down under in Australia, XFORCE Exhaust Systems are made to provide a relatively cost-effective, easy-to-install performance upgrade for Australian drivers.

In order to ensure this, they've developed a range that caters for all the most popular performance cars in Australia, including hot hatches such as the VW Golf GTi, Japanese cars like the Subaru WRX, and Australian muscle such as Ford's FPV line and the Holden Commodore.

    Our Range of Performance Exhausts

Spares Box offers the one of the widest ranges of XFORCE performance exhaust parts in Australia, meaning you can easily shop online for the best parts delivered to your door. Our range of exhaust systems is available in a wide range of materials and fitments to suit all performance applications, from cat back systems to engine back and turbo back systems, in both stainless steel and mild steel variants, we also offer high flow headers, extractors and catalytic converters, to enhance air flow through the traditionally restrictive parts you'd find in your stock exhaust.

At the tail end of your exhaust, you can also invest in high flow mufflers that are either universal or part of the Varex range. Varex mufflers are remote controllable and can be remotely adjusted to suit your needs for air flow and exhaust note.
